Aquatic Center
Opened in fall 2014, Northview’s state-of-the-art swimming facility is committed to improving the health, safety, enjoyment and athletic competition of the Northview community. The pool supports all competitive water sports with 13 lanes and two levels for diving (2 -1 meter boards and 1 – 3 meter board). The pool has a 20 x 40-foot shallow area that can be used for activities such as swim lessons, water therapy and water aerobics.

The Family Changing rooms at the Aquatic Center will be undergoing repairs this summer. Please be prepared for closures. When dates for repairs are scheduled, an email will be sent and notices posted.

Open Swim
Crossroads and Northview High School students are considered Fitness Center members and do not have to pay for Open Swim.
All other students DK-6 must pay $5.
If you have a Fitness Center membership, Open Swim is included.
Cost: $5
No open swim Monday – Friday.

Swim Lessons / Learn the Strokes
Group & Private swim lessons are set up by the number of sessions desired and are filled based on instructor availability.
- Youth Lessons are offered for children ages 6-14
- Preschool Group lessons are offered for children ages 3-6.
- Adult lessons are also available
Small Group and Private Lessons – Youth & Adult
Group and private lessons are offered for community members and taught by trained instructors. All lessons are dependent upon pool and instructor availability. Click on this link for inquiries regarding our lesson programs.

North Kent Aquatic Team
Our youth swimming program, North Kent Aquatic Team, or NKAT Swimming, practices at NHS, and competes in the regional West Michigan Swim League (WMSL), across the state of Michigan, at various regional and national meets. NKAT athletes also compete as members of United States Swimming.
With several age and ability groups training and competing under certified coaches, our youth swimming program engages young athletes who have graduated from swimming lessons through high school and beyond.

NATIONAL LIFEGUARD SHORTAGE
Our country is experiencing a nation-wide lifeguard shortage. Northview too, needs qualified guards, especially to fill all our shifts or cover an unexpected absence. While we make every attempt to fill these openings, we may have unexpected cancellations of programming. We are doing all we can to avoid this, but we ask for your understanding when these circumstances arise as we prioritize your safety and well-being. We are sorry for any inconvenience when unforeseen closures occur.
