Kindergarten Enrollment

All Northview resident parents/guardians with a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026 are encouraged to complete the online enrollment process.

A Developmental Kindergarten program will be available for students who meet the kindergarten age requirement but are not yet ready for the comprehensive kindergarten program. Students who will be 5 between September 2 – December 1, 2026 may complete the online enrollment process for Developmental Kindergarten. (Due to the student turning 5 after September 1, Kindergarten is not available to these students.) Students who will be 5 after December 1, 2026 will need to wait until next year to enroll but are encouraged to attend a preschool program. Please note that some Developmental Kindergarten students may need to be placed in a non-resident elementary building.

Non-resident students who want to attend Developmental Kindergarten or Kindergarten must complete the School of Choice process. The student’s elementary building will be selected by Northview Public Schools.

For the 2026-2027 school year, all Kindergarten students will have an oral health screening done at their elementary building.
