Don’t Miss The Bus!
All students who require transportation for the 2025−26 school year must be registered. Please note, transportation is available for resident students only.
The Transportation Department uses a website/mobile app for bus stop information. It’s called, My Ride K-12. Check the Transportation Department’s page on the district website for instructions on how to download and use the app. We are unable to give out bus stop information over the phone. Thank you for your understanding!
Before/After School Childcare
In partnership with Northview Public Schools, the Wolverine Worldwide YMCA offers before and after school care in each of our elementary buildings for students in grades DK−6th. Interested families can register for child care at www.grymca.org/school-aged-child-care.
Medical & Other Forms
Don’t forget to download and complete all of the required forms, medical and otherwise, for your child.
Sports Physicals
Sports physicals are required for participation in all athletics programming and must be turned into the office before any athlete can practice or play. Athletes must also be sure to have a concussion awareness form on file that is signed and dated by both athlete and parent/guardian. Physical forms can be found here.
School Chromebooks
For more information regarding school provided Chromebooks please read the Device Handbook and Acceptable Use Policy. For details on the managed security, please visit our Technology Department page.
Incoming 3rd and 8th Grade Students…
Students who will be in 3rd and 8th grade for the coming school year will be issued a Chromebook in the first week(s) of school.
Students who turned in their Chromebook prior to summer vacation…
Any student who turned in their Chromebook will receive their Chromebook back just as it was returned to the district. The Technology Department will be able to provide more information to the building offices as to when the redeployment will be taking place in the coming weeks.
Chromebook Coverage Plan for 2025-2026
Northview Public Schools issues Chromebooks to all of its students. These devices are traditionally kept at school for grades DK -2, whereas students in grades 3 through 12 often transport their Chromebooks to and from school. As we have rolled out these devices, we have of course encountered issues with breakage, loss, theft, damage, etc. Because we do not want to pass excessive costs back to parents, Northview has decided to provide parents with peace of mind for devices that are under their responsibility. We are happy to announce that we are offering a Chromebook Coverage Plan hosted by Northview Public Schools. The plan costs $25, and covers accidental damage, one free charger replacement if the charger is lost or stolen (chargers are normally $20), as well as covers a Chromebook that has been stolen (this requires a filed police report).
To learn more about the details of this, please read our FAQ’s document to get started.

Food Service
Governor Whitmer signed the State School Aid budget on July 23, 2024. It includes funding to continue free breakfasts and lunches for the upcoming school year through the Michigan School Meals Program.
Even though meals will be provided for free, it’s important for families who feel they may qualify for the Summer benefits to continue sharing household income information through the newly named Education and Nutrition Benefits Application for our schools to receive full access to federal and state funding for educational programs that our students are entitled to.
Please check this Frequently Asked Questions document for income guidelines to see if your family could qualify.
